Is Jobstrack.io Legit? How It Works, What It Costs, and What to Expect

Is Jobstrack.io legit? Yes. It's a job-alert service: you set the roles and locations you want, we check company career pages throughout the day, and matching roles arrive in your inbox with a direct apply link. We do not apply to jobs for you, write your resume, or contact employers on your behalf.

It's a fair question before sharing your email address or paying for a job-search tool. This article is written by the Jobstrack.io team, not an independent reviewer. Below, you can see the product, check the pricing and policies, and decide whether it fits your search.

Key Takeaways

  • Jobstrack.io automates discovery, not applications. You decide which jobs to pursue and submit your own application.
  • Matching roles come from company career pages directly, rather than being collected from LinkedIn or Indeed.
  • You choose roles and locations, not individual companies to track. Check the company network before subscribing.
  • The seven-day free trial requires a payment method. There is no subscription charge during the trial; cancel before it ends to avoid the first payment.
  • The privacy policy says we do not sell personal data. We use service providers to run the product and process payments.
  • The value is earlier discovery and less manual searching. Use the time saved to prepare applications that reflect your experience.

What Is Jobstrack.io, Exactly?

It's a job-alert service. You tell it which roles and locations you want, and it monitors the career pages of companies in its network. When a new role matches, you get an email with the job, company, location, and a direct apply link. Matched jobs are also available in your dashboard.

The dashboard keeps those matches in one place. You can filter the list, open the original posting, and mark a matched job as applied so you know which ones you have already acted on.

Check the company list to see which employers we monitor. You do not need to pick or follow each employer: we match your role and location preferences across the network.

Why Use Jobstrack.io Instead of Free Job Alerts?

Free job boards are useful for broad searches, researching employers, and finding roles already in circulation. You do not need to stop using them. The reason to add Jobstrack.io is to spend less time searching and get earlier notice of matching roles from the source.

  • Find openings before they spread to job boards. Company career pages can publish roles before LinkedIn or Indeed indexes them. Jobstrack.io checks those pages directly and sends an alert when a new match is found.
  • Replace repeated checking with focused alerts. Set your roles and locations once instead of reopening career pages and running the same searches throughout the day.
  • Discover employers beyond your shortlist. A matching role can come from a company you would not have thought to check yourself.
  • Keep more time for the application. Read the requirements, choose relevant examples, and tailor your materials instead of spending that time finding the opening.

You are paying for monitoring and matching, not exclusive access to vacancies. The original postings remain available on employer career pages. If you already find suitable roles quickly with free tools and do not spend much time searching, a subscription may add little. If those checks consume your day, that is the work Jobstrack.io can take off your plate.

Where Do the Job Listings Come From?

Directly from company career pages. We do not collect listings from LinkedIn or Indeed and repackage them as new alerts. The apply link takes you to the employer's original application page.

Before spending time on an application, check the source yourself:

  1. Open the apply link and confirm the employer, job title, and location.
  2. Check that the original posting is still accepting applications.
  3. Read its requirements and any publication date shown. Dates on different websites are not always directly comparable.
  4. Apply through the employer's application page if the role fits.

Will You Apply to Jobs on My Behalf?

No. Jobstrack.io does not submit applications, generate or edit your resume, or contact employers as you.

Job boards help you search listings, while auto-apply tools aim to reduce the work of submitting applications. Jobstrack.io handles a different part of the process: discovering matching roles early and bringing them to you. Your application stays yours.

You still need to read the posting, decide whether you qualify, and submit accurate materials. Our auto-apply vs. job alerts comparison explains the trade-offs between those approaches.

What Do You Do With My Data?

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. The main categories include email and authentication information, role and location preferences, account settings, support messages, subscription records, and technical or usage data.

We use that information to provide alerts, operate accounts, manage billing, offer support, improve the service, and meet security and legal obligations. PostHog provides product analytics, and other service providers support authentication, hosting, and email delivery.

The policy states: "We do not sell your personal data." Payments are processed by Paddle, and we do not store full payment card details. The policy identifies Paddle as a separate controller for payment information.

Job-alert emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also manage your preferences and account through the dashboard. Unsubscribing from emails does not cancel your paid subscription; use the billing controls if you want to stop renewal.

For account deletion, retention periods, or a data request, check the privacy policy or contact support@jobstrack.io.

How Does Billing Work?

Jobstrack.io is a paid subscription, billed through Paddle as merchant of record. We often run limited-time discounts, so check the pricing page before subscribing.

As of October 10, 2026, the October 2026 offer is 30% off with code OCTO30, available through October 31, 2026. Here is how it compares with standard pricing. Each amount covers the billing period shown, not a monthly equivalent:

Billing periodStandardOctober 2026 offer
Weekly$9.99$6.99
Monthly$19.99$13.99
Every six months$49.99$34.99

The six-month plan works out to approximately $8.33 per month at standard pricing, or $5.83 per month with the October 2026 discount. The six-month amount is charged as one payment, not monthly installments.

The October 2026 column is a dated offer, not a permanent price. Check the pricing page for current promotions and confirm the applied discount, how long it applies, any taxes, and your first payment and renewal amounts at checkout.

What Happens After the Free Trial?

A payment method is required to start the seven-day free trial. There is no subscription charge during those seven days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, billing starts on the payment date shown at checkout for the plan you selected.

Before confirming, check the first payment date and amount. To avoid that payment, cancel through your dashboard's billing controls before the trial ends. You retain access for the rest of the trial.

How Do I Cancel?

Cancel through your dashboard's billing controls before the next renewal. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current trial or billing period, and you retain access until then. Canceling during the trial prevents the first subscription charge; canceling a paid plan stops its next renewal rather than refunding a payment already made.

If you cannot access billing, contact support@jobstrack.io or use Paddle buyer support.

Can I Get a Refund?

Refunds are separate from cancellation. Our refund policy says processed payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. It also describes discretionary refunds for circumstances such as verified billing errors, fraud, or a material technical defect.

For withdrawal-right information in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, and UK, read the policy and checkout consent terms. Contact support or Paddle about a specific refund request.

Who's Behind It?

Our team has worked at large technology companies in Europe, and we have also been job seekers ourselves. We know firsthand how demanding a job search can be: finding relevant openings, preparing applications, and dealing with uncertainty along the way.

Jobstrack.io grew out of that experience. We wanted to make finding relevant opportunities less time-consuming, so job seekers could spend more time on the applications that matter. That idea became a service that checks company career pages and brings new matching roles to your inbox.

Jobstrack.io is operated by Wisedev Studio, identified in our privacy policy as a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands. The published business address is Le Mairekade 77, 1013 CB Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Support is available at support@jobstrack.io for account, alert, and billing questions.

Who Is Jobstrack.io For?

It is a good fit when:

  • You are actively applying and want earlier notice. Alerts can help you find suitable openings while they are still fresh.
  • You are employed and short on search time. Matching roles can come to you without an evening spent checking career pages.
  • You want to broaden your search. Role and location matching can introduce employers beyond your existing shortlist.
  • You prefer to prepare your own applications. Discovery is automated, while your experience, judgment, and voice stay in the application.

It is not a substitute for:

  • An auto-apply service, resume writer, or interview coach.
  • A full application pipeline for jobs submitted elsewhere. You can mark matched jobs as applied, but this is not an interview-stage or offer tracker.
  • Coverage of every employer or occupation. Check the company network and the role and location options first, especially for local retail, hourly work, or staffing-agency searches.

What We Can't Promise

We can help you discover a role earlier. We cannot get you hired.

Coverage is limited to the companies we monitor. We check career pages throughout the day, but source outages, monitoring schedules, and email delivery can affect timing. We do not guarantee that every alert will arrive before every job board, and roles filled without a public posting cannot be discovered this way.

Being early does not override fit, qualifications, work authorization, or an employer's hiring process. Employers can also leave postings open or pause hiring; our ghost jobs guide explains what to watch for. Use alerts to find opportunities, then verify the posting and decide whether it deserves your time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. It is a job-alert service operated by Wisedev Studio. You can check the company network, public pricing, operator details, and policies linked in this article before subscribing.

Does Jobstrack.io Apply to Jobs for Me?

No. It discovers matching roles and sends apply links. It does not submit applications, write your resume, or contact employers on your behalf.

Where Do Jobstrack.io's Job Listings Come From?

Company career pages, not listings collected from LinkedIn or Indeed. Follow the apply link to review the original posting and check that it is still accepting applications.

Can I Choose Individual Companies to Track?

No. You choose roles and locations, and Jobstrack.io matches them against jobs from the companies it monitors. Check the company list before subscribing.

Does Jobstrack.io Sell My Data?

No. Our privacy policy says we do not sell personal data. We use service providers to operate the product and process payments; the policy explains collection, use, sharing, and retention.

How Much Does Jobstrack.io Cost?

Standard prices are $9.99 per week, $19.99 per month, or $49.99 every six months, before discounts. We often run limited-time offers, and the advertised trial lasts seven days. Check pricing and checkout for the current offer and renewal details.

Does the Free Trial Require a Card?

The seven-day trial requires a payment method at checkout. No subscription charge is taken during the trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first payment; the checkout shows the payment date and amount.

Can I Cancel Any Time?

Yes, through the dashboard's billing controls. Cancellation stops the next renewal, with access continuing until the current trial or billing period ends. Refunds follow the separate refund policy.

Does Unsubscribing From Job Alerts Cancel My Subscription?

No. Email preferences and billing are separate. To stop future subscription charges, cancel through your billing controls before the next renewal.

How to Judge the Service During Your Trial

Start with roles and locations you would genuinely accept, then assess three things:

  1. Are the matches relevant? Open the original postings and check the role, location, and requirements. Adjust preferences if the results are too broad or too narrow.
  2. Does it save you manual searching? Notice whether you can reduce repeated career-page visits while still finding roles worth reviewing.
  3. Does it help you act earlier? Compare when you receive useful alerts with when you would otherwise have found those roles. Do not assume that different websites' posting dates measure the same thing.

A quiet week does not necessarily mean something is broken: employers may not have posted new roles matching a narrow search. Check your preferences, spam folder, and the company network; contact support if you think alerts are missing. You do not need to keep a paid subscription to investigate a concern.

Before the trial's renewal date, decide whether the relevance and time saved justify the price. Continue if it earns a place in your routine, or cancel through billing before the trial ends. The goal is a useful job search, not another subscription you forget about.
